

Application and Admission
Your application and admissions process at SRH Haarlem Campus
- Apply online and upload a copy of your Passport, Previous Education Diplomas, English Language Certificate, and Motivation Letter
- We will then invite you to a selection interview
- If the interview is successful you will receive a “Study Offer Letter”
- You then need to sign the Study Offer Letter and upload it to our application portal
- We will send you the required invoices (tuition fees and any other necessary fees). You have to pay the amounts on the designated dates
- We will apply for your visa if applicable
- Join us at Haarlem Campus and get the journey started!
Disclamer
We are not part of Studielink, because that portal is only used for public universities, since we are a private university we have our own application portal. That does not mean we are not accredited, if you would like to know more about that, please see our accreditation page.
Application Deadline
The application deadline for the February intake will be:
- November 15th, for Non-EU/EAA citizens
- January 31st, for EU/EAA citizens.
The application deadline for the September intake will be:
- June 15th, for Non-EU/EAA citizens and
- August 31st, for EU/EAA citizens.

Entry and Language requirements
Entry requirements
Dutch Diplomas:
- We can accept completed HAVO, VWO or MBO-4 diplomas;
- You do not need to submit an English language certificate (e.g., IELTS or TOEFL).
EU Diplomas:
We accept:
- IB Diploma Programme and IB Career-Related Programme graduates
- European Baccalaureate graduates
- A-Levels are not required.
- We recognise most EU secondary school diplomas that give access to higher education in your home country. You don’t need a 12-year diploma, 11 years of education is enough (equivalent to Dutch HAVO level)
- In most cases, you will need to submit proof of English proficiency, unless your diploma is listed as exempt in this document.
Non-EU diplomas:
We accept:
- B Diploma Programme and IB Career-Related Programme graduates
- European Baccalaureate graduates
- We recognise most high school diplomas that allow entry into higher education in your country, in some cases with at least 11 years of schooling. Our admissions team will evaluate your diploma.
- You will usually need to submit an English language certificate, unless you come from an English-speaking country.
English Language Requirements:
English Language Requirements for Bachelor of Science Applicants
- If required, you must submit one of the following minimum scores:
- IELTS: 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: 80
- PTE Academic: 61
- TOEIC: Between 605 – 780
- We do not accept other certificates.
Exemptions
You do not need to submit proof of English if:
- You are a native speaker (based on nationality and passport)
- You hold a German Abitur diploma
- You hold a Dutch HAVO (or higher) diploma
- You studied at an IB school (except in Bangladesh, Nepal, or Pakistan)
- Your diploma clearly states you achieved a B2 level in English
- Your previous education was fully taught in English (except in Bangladesh, Nepal, or Pakistan)
These exemptions are based on government guidelines and our own research into student success. If there is any uncertainty, we may request additional documentation.
For Master of Science (MSc) Applicants
If required, you must submit one of the following minimum scores:
- IELTS: 6.5
- TOEFL iBT: 79
- FCE/CAE: 169

Exemptions
You do not need to submit proof of English if you hold a Bachelor’s degree taught entirely in English.
As with the BSc, exemptions are based on government advice and internal evaluations. We may ask for further proof if needed.


21+ Admission Test
Would you like to follow a course at a college for applied science (HBO) but don’t quite meet the requirements for Dutch higher education?
If you are 21 years or older and do not meet the standard entry requirements, you may be eligible to take our 21+ Admission Test. This test helps us assess whether you are ready to start the Bachelor of Science programme.
